I visited the website of the Immigration Department of Malaysia the other day to get the address of its KL office. I found the address, highlighted it, right-clicked the mouse and selected copy. Oh hang on.. there’s an error message. No, no.. it’s a thank you message.

Okay.. so right-click is not allowed. Isn’t that odd, though? I would’ve thought that anything put on a website and not protected is meant for the public.
But then, if the address is not supposed to be copied, what’s stopping me from:
I mean, really.. if you don’t want your data to be used by the public, then don’t put it on a website. I personally think the person who did this is afflicted by the ID-ten-T syndrome.

hahaha….aku pun x paham apa kejadahnya x allow right clicking tu…siap ada tq message lagi…tapi, apa nak heran, sebahagian (i really mean sebahagian) staff imigresen bukannya ada kerja pun…kalau diorang buat kerja, takde laa ramai pendatang asing kat mesia nih…setakat jaga paspot budak2 form 1 pun bulih..

“I would’ve thought that anything put on a website and not protected is meant for the public.” <- this is not correct.

Really? How is that so? If an information is not meant for the public, then it’s only logical that it should not be put on a website where anybody can access it, don’t you agree?
